We are very sad to inform Wade
collectors and friends of the passing of Jeremy Wade.
Jeremy recently passed away
suddenly, and as many of the club members will know, Jeremy was the Grandson of Sir George Wade and was the Wade Collectors Clubs' President since it's inception. Although the factory was no longer
in the family, he was always very supportive of the club and enjoyed being part of the Wade collecting community. He wrote many articles for the club magazine and was very involved with the clubs
online activities during the Covid Pandemic. Always enthusiastic, he was keen for the family name to be carried to Wade collectors around the world.
The funeral, which Jenny, Russell
and I attended, was a celebration of Jeremys' life and he was clearly a very popular man, the church was full, standing room only. We all will sadly miss Jeremy and we send our condolences to his
lovely family.
Although the Collectors Club
closed in September 2023, Jenny, Russell and I felt we were on our final representation on behalf of the Official International Wade Collectors Club to say farwell to our friend and Wade Collectors
Club President.
